Hurricane GM LS1 4340 Forged Crank Description
This is our finished Chevy LS1 Forged Crank 3.900" Stroke, It is designed for performance applications for off road, street and race applications. All GM LS1 4340 Forged Crank is CNC machined from One Piece of forged Chromoly steel, and they are micro polished and Nitrided. Nitriding is an expensive process where the crankshaft is exposed to gas under heat and pressure, this creates a really hard journal and added srength.
Hurricane finished LS1 Forged 4340 Steel Crankshaft 3.900" Stroke are also ground to EXACT sizes, magnafluxed, and dynamically balanced. much more every piece of our LS1 cranks have serial number (identify mark).
