4.125 Stroke Hurricane chevrolet LS1 4340 forged steel crankshaft Description:
HUR crankshafts are made specially from the finest, aerospace grade 4340 steel material, which is for racing engines. Every LS1 crankshaft features large radius journals that add rigidity for high horsepower, high boost, high rpm applications, including Gun drilled, CNC ground oil holes feature a smooth surface, teardropped, cross drilled and micro polished to a mirror finish . All cranks are stress relieved, shot penned, magna flux inspected and nitrided for ultimate performance.
To accommodate your engine control system, LSX shafts can be specified with either late LS2 – LS7 58 tooth or the early LS1 – LS6 style twin timing wheels. If you are building a dry sump LS7 style engine, Hurricane offers an extended length post to easily complete your project. LSX cranks are sold rough balanced to 1900 grams, or finish balanced to your bob weight.
