Hurricane Speed and Performance is now used in highly loaded series production engines as well: forged 4032 piston for foreign automobiles, sport compact and racing applications. Hurricane machine all of our own forge tooling with fully CNC machine in China. For same alloy, the production process results in a higher and greater strength. This allows us to control all aspects of our manufacturing process from material to product. At present, beside standard piston, custom piston can be provided also.

Crankshaft
HUR crankshafts are made specially from the finest, aerospace grade 4340 steel material, which is for racing engines.
Every crankshaft features large radius journals that add rigidity for high horsepower, high boost, high rpm applications, including Gun drilled, CNC ground oil holes feature a smooth surface, teardropped, cross drilled and micro polished to a mirror finish .
