Hurricane GM LS1 I-beam connecting rods engineered from high tensile 4340 forgings, they can handle high rpm tension forces. All hurricane rods are full finished on CNC advance machinery, Here is a short introduce for 13 major Process of machining rods. This I beam 6.125in connecting rods are shot peened, all the steel shot selected strictly . We only use the cleanest shot which has the most suitable size. That is why our rods`surface is very bright and smooth after shot peening, also with long fatigue life.
