Hurricane Speed and Performanc Opel Z16LER rods are designed to with stand H-beam and assemble with the ARP 2000 series 5/16" bolts. And if you need, You could use the ARP custom age bolts available.

All hurricane connecting rods are designed in factory directly to create many different components since 2000, this is why all rods can be made, included custom conrods. Our advantages: availability, ease of fitment and size of range.

Opel H-Beam X-beam and I-Beam connecting rods are forged from AISI 4340 (En24/40CrNiMoA) steel. Heat treated to HRC 34-38 and then shot peened for a higher fatigue strength. Small ends are bushed for steel bushing, and big ends are fitted with high quality 8740, ARP2000 bolts.
