These X-beam rods fits VW Audi 1.9L TDI engine , forged from high tensile steel 4340 , all these rods are Magnafluxed, fully CNC machined for high strength, and matched weight within 2g each set .

Each rods is shot peened and polished during machine to remove stress better and improve fatigue life .

Compared with Hurricane normal H-beam and I-beam forged connecting rods , X-beam is stronger than H-beam rods , but the strength less than I-beam , the weight is lighter than Hurricane I-beam connecting rods , but heavier than H-beam connecting rods . When you are choosing a set rods , beside weight and strength , there are much factors should be considered ,such as The type of engine you are building , The maximum rpms it will turn , The relative reliability, The type of rods you want or the style of rods that are available to fit the engine you are building etc .
