Hurricane H Beam Honda B16 rods are machined from forging 4340 steel, connecting rods length: 5.290", and then heat treated to provide improved strength. To make the rods even stronger, they are shot peened to which also increases fatigue life. All Hurricane Honda B16 engine connecting rods are fitted with highly durable premium bronze bushings for use with floating pin type pistons. Each rod set for the Honda B16 series engines, you can use ARP bolt. Critical rod dimensions are are held to very precise tolerances, such as rod length:+/-0.05, big end bore:+/-0.013, small end bore:+/-0.005, which are an excellent upgrade component for high performance and racing B16 engines.
