These 6625 Forged Replacement Rods for Pontiac 455 engine are fabricated from high strength 4340 (EN24) steel, and are precision machined to exacting tolerances using the latest state-of-the-art technology. each rods are adequately chamfered with adequate clearance, on the edge facing the crank throw to accommodate large journal fillet radii, to obtain proper lubrication .H beam pattern design can handle higher compressive loads. Specifically engineered for demanding race application.
