These Chrysler 440 connecting rods made for high performance and racing engines, at reasonable prices. Per rod forged from premium 4340 forged steel and 100% CNC machine at advanced equipment for high strength and reliability . Shaped by I-beam to provide good combination of light weight and strength, and also help to handle higher compressive loads and provide better tensile strength .
At present , some rods manufacturer only produce H-beam, Some rods manufacture only produce I-beam rods . Then customer maybe will wonder which one is better between H-beam and I-beam rod ? well , it is hard to say clearly which one is better , choosing connecting rods for a performance engine is not as simple as it thinks . You have to consider many factors, such as The type of engine you are building (drag, circle track, street, endurance, diesel or marine); The maximum rpms your engine will turn ;The type of rods you or your customer want, or the style of rods that are available to fit the engine you are building (I-Beam, H-Beam, A-Beam or other beams ); The type of rod material you or your customer want, or is available to fit the engine you are building (4340 or 300M forged or billet steel, aluminum, titanium); How much you or your customer can afford to spend on a set of rods etc .
