The Toyota 1FZ H-Beam connecting rod is made from high quality forged aircraft 4340 steel. They are fully machined, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened and magnafluxed. Different with the common rods in market , these 1FZ con rods machined with a special design on the small ends, it would not increase the rods strength , but it makes the rods look more beautiful , the picture as below :
