SAAB B205 I-beam Connecting Rods Description
1). SAAB B205 steel rods are built from high alloy AISI 4340 (En24) steel material.
2). Engineered with I-Beam Shape for extra rigidity.
3). Heat treated to HRC 34-38 and polished and finally shot peened for high fatigue strength.
4). Per rod’s small ends bushed for for the floating piston pin and big ends are fitted with high quality dowel to keep the conrods bearing caps precisely aligned .
5). Per connecting rod have been designed, manufactured and inspected and tested to the highest levels of scrutiny before being released to the trade and the customers .
6). 100% CNC machined for superior tolerances to meet a higher quality standard .
