Custom Eccentric Connecting Rods Features

1. Eccentric

Eccentric-and-rod mechanism, arrangement of mechanical parts used to obtain a reciprocating straight-line motion from a rotating shaft; it serves the same purpose as a slider-crank mechanism and is particularly useful when the required stroke of the reciprocating motion is small in comparison with the dimensions of the driving shaft.

2. Oil and Radial Groove

The connecting rods are made of forged 4340 steel, heat treated. Rods are statically and electronically balanced. A hole in the upper end of the rods catches splashed oil from the cylinder block and allows it flow into Radial Groove in the connecting rods bearing for continuous piston pin lubrication.
