Chevrolet Corvair FORGED STEEL CONNECTING RODS Description

Hurricane forged steel connecting rods are a competitive priced alternative to the time and expense involved in racing connecting rods. They are stronger than OEM connecting rods, these are rated to 600HP. Chevy Corvair rods have two designs available:H-beam and -beam. They are 22mm steel to steel full-floating wrist pin design
Corvair performance rods are custom forged for customer using 4340 forged steel . They are precision machined with advanced CNC machine. They are heat treated to 34-38HRC and then shot peened. They weigh 440 grams which is 10 grams within a batch. The bolts are 5/16 ARP2000 and require special torquing procedures: 45N*M. Hurricane Speed and Performance fully warranty all our products against manufacturing defect.
