These Chevrolet BBC I beam 7.100" connecting rods CNC machined from 4340 / EN24 aircraft chrome moly steel, magnaflux inspected and heat treated to HRC 34-38 , I-beam design for added strength to load higher horsepower.
What’s more , per 7.100 “ connecting rods are inserted with highly durable bronze bushings for floating piston pin, high quality dowels installed on each rod for perfect fit and accurate re-assembling .
In additional , each rod is polished and shot peened after machine to increase fatigue life , to make the rods become more stronger .
