Connecting rod for Alfa Romeo Nord 2000 157mm are fully CNC machine and shot peened for higher fatigue strength, also are optimal balancing for weight matched sets within +/- 1g. Alfa Romeo 4340 EN24 H -beam connecting rods all big, small ends are honed to use size by SUNNEN honing machine.
Note: Burring, polishing,(remove burrs and make surface smooth) and shot blasting (Small ball hit surface and make them on surface, increase rods strength with Small ball) are all crucial operations in the making of a competition connecting rod.
