Ford 289/302/5.0L SBF Connecting Rods Description
1.These rods forged from high tensile 4340 steel material , designed and fully machined to be reliable for Ford 289/302/5.0L SBF racing applications.
2.Manufactured as I-beam shape to provide better combination of light weight and strength, each rod heat treated to HRC 34-38 and then shot peened for a higher fatigue strength , packged with 8pcs/set , Optimal balancing for weight matched ± 1gram per set .
3.Each rod has a oil hole at the top of the small ends, so that the oil will drip during the piston’s compressing cycle ,then additional lubrication and cooling will be provided .
These rods suits for high horsepower performance engines , and custom connecting rods can be made once drawing or sample provided .
